Pakistan Fears India's Action, Shahbaz Sharif Appeals for Peace

International News: Pakistan is now very afraid of India's tough steps. For the last few days, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has appealed for help from all over the world while talking about peace. Especially on Saturday night, Shahbaz Sharif spoke to Iran's President Mahmud Pezeshkian over phone, in which he expressed concern over the increasing tension with India and hoped for peace. Pakistan knows that its situation can be very weak by India by stopping the Indus Water Agreement, and that is why it is now pleading internationally to avoid India's steps.

Discussion on explosion in Iran and mention of Kashmir

Shahbaz Sharif expressed condolences to President Pezeshakian after the terrible explosion in Iran. 15 people died and 750 people were injured in the blast. Condoling this, Shahbaz Sharif said that he is with Iran and wishes for early health benefits of the injured. However, amidst this condolences, Pakistan did not stop mentioning the Kashmir issue. Shahbaz said, "We also discussed the regional situation and re-expressed Pakistan's desire for strong peace." Raising the issue of Kashmir is the old habit of Pakistan, even though it was associated with an important incident like Iran.

Pakistan's stand on Indus Water Agreement

Shahbaz Sharif also raised the issue of Indus Water Agreement in a conversation with Iran, and described it as unacceptable to use it as a weapon. He said that Pakistan will not allow its water security to be harmed at any cost and is committed to protecting its limits. This statement highlights the double standards of Pakistan, as Pakistan talks about peace and on the other hand it works to increase terrorism and tension on the border.

Pakistan's disappointing situation and India's retaliation

Pakistan's claim that he wants peace and is against terrorism, full of flaws. Recently, 26 innocent people lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir, mostly tourists.
